Dan Krohn
PWI Platinum Member, Dan A. Krohn is a general business attorney with an emphasis on technology and Internet matters. In private practice for over 20 years, Dan offers clients a problem-solving approach that blends balanced thinking, customized strategies and hands-on legal skills. Resourceful, creative and non-judgmental, Dan is a seasoned practitioner who genuinely cares about people and their issues. The majority of his clients are closely held businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals with a wide variety of interests and obligations.

A native of Los Angeles, Dan earned a B.A. in Economics from Emory University. Dan received his J.D. in 1974 from the University of Texas School of Law.

Following graduation, Dan served as law clerk to the Travis County District Courts. He then became the first administrative law judge for the Texas Department of Banking, where he presided over hearings on state bank applications, domicile changes and other related matters.

In 1979, Dan moved to Houston and entered private practice. In the early eighties, he took a personal interest in computers and technology, and assumed the additional role of system administrator for his firm. At one point, Dan was the Unix system administrator for a firm of more than twenty users in two locations, in addition to maintaining his legal docket.

Shanda Davis is President and Founder of The PROGRESS Arts Group Inc., a Houston based 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and education organization created in 2003 whose overall mission is to Educate and Create Opportunities through the arts ~ Worldwide. 

Since 2003, the organization has successfully created, implemented, led, and managed projects that have enriched and positively impacted the lives of thousands of financially disadvantaged youth in Houston and abroad by providing high quality arts, wellness, empowerment, life skills, and financial literacy education and training. 

Their projects have also created opportunities for and showcased the talents of artists and filmmakers of all ages from around the world. Their team has a combined total of more than 60 years of experience in the arts, training, education, film making, and community outreach programs. 

The PROGRESS Arts Group Inc. is dedicated to ensuring that our community's financially disadvantaged youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures.
